Using our product to help make the world a better beach one bucket, one beach at a time.

We are a group of freshmen from Dwight school New York that are working to make this world a better place.

A sand sifter bucket that separates microplastics from sand to purify our earth.

Steps for our bucket

1. Fill sift With Sand

Take the sand from the beach you are on and fill the sift with it

2. Place Shift in bucket

Take the sift and place it in the bucket

3. Place the lid on

Take our custom-designed lid that has the crank and put it on the bucket

4. Crank

Crank the hand-held crank to spin the gears and get rid of the sand and separating it from the microplastics.

5. Remove lid/Sift

Take our lid with the crank and the sift out of the bucket leaving the pure sand that is separated from the microplastics in the bucket.  

6. Remove the Sand

Remove the filtered sand from the bucket back on to the newly cleaned beach. 

7. Fill bucket with water

Fill the bucket with water until the yellow fill line.

8. Let the micro-plastics float

Allow the filtered micro plastics to float to the top of the bucket with the help of water.

9. Scoop out the micro plastics

Use the scoop to scoop out all of the micro-plastics that floated to the top.

10. Dispose of them, properly

make sure to dispose of the microplastics properly so they are not recycled back into the ocean. if you are near a beach store give it to them to recycle. Or your clean up manager. 

11. Remove all the water from the bucket

Take out the water from your bucket making sure there is no extra debri. poor the water back into the ocean.

12. Repeat!

Repeat this process and share it with your friends/community to keep this world clean and beautiful.
